How Can I Create a Followup Task?

Ensure important items are revisited at the right time. Set a follow-up date so the task reappears when it’s needed.

✅ Step 1: Open the Task Menu

While inside any task or customer workflow, click the blue “+ Task” button.

This opens the task creation panel.


📝 Step 2: Select the Task Type

Choose the Task Type that best matches what needs to be completed
(e.g., Customer Follow-Up, Internal Note, Appointment Reminder, etc.).

⏰ Step 3: Set When the Task Should Appear

Select when the task should show up in the team’s Task Queue, such as: 

This determines when the team will see the task.


👥 Step 4: Assign a Task Owner (Optional)

If the task needs to be assigned to someone specific:

  • Choose the staff member from the Task Owner dropdown.
    If unassigned, the task will appear in the general team queue.


🔄 Step 5: Update Task Status (If Needed)

You may also set or adjust the Task Status (e.g., Pending, In Progress, Deferred).


💾 Step 6: Save the Task

Once all details are entered, confirm and save.

The task will now appear in the task queue at the time you designated.
