How to Transfer a Subscriber From One Location to Another
Subscriber accounts cannot currently be transferred between locations.
Overview
Each subscriber account is tied to a specific store location.
However, the customer can create a new subscriber account under the new location, and you can manually transfer loyalty-related balances such as:
⚠️ Important Information
At this time:
- Customer profiles cannot be moved between locations
- Service history and subscriber accounts do not merge across stores. So the customer will be unable to see their service history at the previous location.
- A new subscriber account must be created at the new location
🧭 Step 1: Have the Customer Sign Out of Their Current Account
The customer should:
- Open your app
- Sign out of their existing subscriber account
🧭 Step 2: Create a New Account Under the New Location
The customer can then:
- Select the new shop location
- Create a new subscriber account
⭐ Step 3: Manually Re-Add Loyalty Balances (If Needed)
If the customer had:
…you can manually add those balances to the new account.
⚠️ If you decide to delete the customers profile at the previous locations make sure to document:
- Current rebate balance
- Current Star Reward balance
This ensures the correct values can be transferred manually.

The customer will now have a new subscriber account tied to the new location, and their loyalty balances can be manually restored if needed.
